Bypass Maintenance Switches

The UPS Bypass Switch solves the problem of disconnecting a UPS from service, without losing to power the device it is supporting.

There are two leads on the rear of the UPS Bypass Switch. one takes power from the main building supply and sends it to the UPS and the other takes the output from the UPS back into the UPS Bypass Switch. The unit to be supported is connected directly into the rear of the UPS Bypass Switch, allowing seamless switching between mains and backup supply. High visibility neon indicators clearly show when the unit is in bypass mode and full connection instructions are printed on the front of the case. The unit supports is available with a choice of multiple IEC outlets on the rear, allowing more than 1 unit to be supported, up to the maximum available current.
